Kerala Blasters reserves is the reserve team of Indian Super League club Kerala Blasters that currently plays in the I-league 2nd Division and Kerala Premier League. It is being managed by Rejith TA and the team recently won the Kerala Premier League title. The main aim of the reserve team has never been of securing big sponsorship deals but rather to help youngsters to gain promotion into the first team. The team did well in the recently conducted Kerala Premier League where they defeated Gokulam Kerala FC to win the prestigious tournament. Recently a lot of reserve team players have failed to establish themselves as a first team regulars however some players may turn up for the first team in the upcoming season. Hence we look at the five players who are likely to be a part of Kerala Blasters first team for the upcoming season.

1. Basit Ahmed Bhat

This 22 year old Kashmiri leftback joined the Kerala Blasters side from Lonestar Kashmir’s team. Basit was one of the regular players for the side in the Kerala Premier League campaign. The left back have lots of versatility in his playing style as he can play as a left midfielder as well on the left flank. Due to his consistent good show for the club, Basit is one of the good contenders in the list of players to get promoted to the first team.
