3. Reza Ghoochannejhad (PEC Zwolle)

Reza Ghoochannejhad, also known as Gucci, currently plays for Eredivisie side PEC Zwolle. Despite scoring more than a dozen goals in his two seasons in the Dutch first-tier league, the Iranian international has mostly been limited to the bench there. Recently, he once again proved himself as a top forward after scoring a hattrick within 12 minutes of coming off the bench against Willem II.
Gucci announced his intention of leaving the club this summer and has already garnered interest from MSL as well as multiple Iranian clubs. City Group backed Mumbai City FC can be an appealing option for the 33-year-old Reza. Proving himself as a top goalscorer over the years, he might be tempted for one last big paycheque and an opportunity to compete in Asia’s premium tournament, the AFC Champions League.
2. Nikita Rukavytsya (Maccabi Haifa)

Israeli Premier League’s top goalscorer in 2019-20 and Maccabi Haifa’s starman, Nikita Rukavytsya will be a dream signing for Mumbai City FC. The Australian International has already scored 17 times this season in 20 games and has netted 4 goals in Europa League qualifiers for the Israeli club. Former teammate Trent Sainsbury described Nikita Rukavytsya as, “Anything in front of goal, and I mean any chance in front of goal he will put it on target put it that way. He is just a deadly finisher, and super quick for his age, he’s rapid fast.” With his contract expiring this summer, Mumbai can fancy their chances to land the 33-year-old forward for their upcoming ISL and Champions League campaign.
