IAIN HUME

Hume has spent 5 years in India in which he played for three different clubs. In these five years he proved himself to be one of the best players to ever play in India. He was a standout performer for every team he played for and he has surely impressed every coach he played under. He impressed every football fan with his prolific finishing and skills. Hume has scored 28 goals in ISL, which keeps him in fourth position of all time goal scorers in ISL only behind Coro, Chhetri and Marcelinho.
STIVEN MENDOZA

Stiven Mendoza was a standout performer for Chennaiyin FC in the 2015 season of ISL. He was the top scorer in that season with 13 goals and also had 3 assists to his name. He helped his side to win the finals against FC Goa by scoring a goal and it won’t be wrong to say that every ISL fan and Chennaiyin fan miss the Colombian star. It would be a carnival for them if they get to see him in action once again in the Marina Arena. Every one related to Indian football is proud of where he has reached now after leaving the ISL.
ELANO BLUMER

The Brazilian World Cupper was the first recipient of the Golden Boot in ISL 2014. He managed to score 8 goals in that season. He helped his side with his scoring ability and his tremendous leadership. In the second stint with Chennaiyin FC, the Brazilian legend helped his side by scoring 4 goals and providing 4 crucial assists. Without any hesitation or doubt, football fans would expect him to make it to this list and he deservingly did.
Not just these stars, many foreign players have been impressive in the ISL. Players like Hugo Boumous, Miku and Diego Forlan were all brilliant players, but couldn’t make it to this list. We hope more and more such players ply their trade in our country’s top-flight league which will grow the ISL by leaps and bounds.
