A football stadium with 50,000 capacity to be built – HM Amit Shah

An athletic stadium for football and track-and-field sports to be built, announced HM Amit Shah.

The tweet by BJP reads –

An athletic stadium for football and track-and-field sports will be built with a seating capacity of 50,000 people. Two indoor stadiums with capacities of 12,000 and 15,000 will also be built.

Another hockey stadium, named after wizard Dhyan Chand, is also to be built. – Shri Amit Shah.

Home Minister, Amit Shah, announces Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Sports Enclave in Ahmedabad. It is said that it will have Olympic level sports facilities. The Motera stadium has been renamed as Narendra Modi stadium.

The aim is to make Ahmedabad the Sports Hub of India. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Sports Enclave is said to have Olympic level sports facilities. It will be built over 236 acres with worlds largest Cricket stadium, Natatorium, Athletics/Track & Field/Football stadium.

Field Hockey & Tennis Stadium, Indoor Sports Halls/Arenas, Outdoor Fields, Veldrome/ Skating Area, Beach Volleyball Facility, and Boating Centre to be included as well.
