He played in the I league 2nd division League with the reserve team. He then joined Indian Arrows in 19/20 season on loan from Chennaiyin FC. He made his I League debut against Gokulam Kerala. India lost to Bangladesh on penalties in the final. Ajin was part of AIFF elite academy batch which was preparing for 2017 U17 world Cup.

Both Mumbai City FC and Kerala Blasters have been active in the transfer market. Both have roped in new coaches in Sergio Lobera and Kibu Vicuna respectively. It will be interesting to see how much gametime the young fullback gets for the club he signs as both the clubs have experienced fullbacks.

Mumbai City FC are currently the frontrunners for signing Ajin. But let’s not forget that the local lad from Kerala has also the option of playing for his local club in Kerala Blasters
