Born in Manipur, the 18-year-old has already represented the national team in the FIFA Under-17 World Cup which was held in 2017. He also represented the Under-20 national side. He has been a part of the Indian Arrows squad since 2017 and already played over 30 I-League matches and as rated as one of the versatile defenders in the country.

Jitendra becomes the fourth recruit for Jamshedpur FC from Indian Arrows along with Narender Gahlot, Amarjit Singh and Aniket Yadav.

Jamshedpur FC have signed some young talented players as well as experienced players like Keegan Pereira. It will be interesting to see how much game time these youngsters get.
