The two table toppers locked horns in what resulted to be a rather enticing match and ATK Mohun Bagan came lesser against Mumbai City FC as the latter beat the prior on a 1-0 scoreline.
Antonio Habas said,
“I don’t see any difference between ATK Mohun Bagan and Mumbai City FC today. Maybe the only difference was that they had some good chances. I’m very angry with the performance of my team in the first half, we didn’t find the rhythm, but during the second half we improved and found a few chances to capitalise.
“Sometimes a defeat will let you improve. Today we conceded only one goal and this is the first goal that we’re conceding from an open play this season, others were from set-plays. Other than that the players need to recover immediately and start preparing for the match against FC Goa.”
Coach Antonio Habas continued to suggest that the defence of his team was extremely good in the first half as he emphasized that Mumbai City FC didn’t have more than a single chance in the first half.
Coach Antonio Habas also hinted he was disappointed as the team’s morale went down after Ogbeche’s goal and as his side didn’t score back tonight.
Antonio Habas signed off by saying Carl McHugh was injured and might be out for a week.
