Northeast United FC rope in Argentine forward Maximiliano Barreiro as a possible replacement of last season’s club top scorer Bartholomew Ogbeche. Barreiro last played for Ecuadorian club S.D.Aucas.
The detailed matter
Maximiliano Barreiro started his youth career way back in 2006 when he featured for Indep’te U20 team. He later signed for Real Arroyo Seco in the same year and that marked the beginning of his professional career.
Barreiro spend his whole career engazing with Ecuadorian football as he represented various clubs over the course of his career. His major performances came in the year 2016 when he miraculously netted 26 goals in 44 matches for Ecuadorian Club Delfin S.C.
Barreiro last played with Sociedad Deportivo Aucas before joining Northeast United FC. In S.D.Aucas, Barreiro netter 5 goals in 18 matches and that was enough to catch the attraction of the Highlander’s scouts.
