Ashutosh Mehta has decided to extend his stay at ATK-MB.
Ashutosh Mehta was probably one of the finest Indian players we saw in the well decorated Mohun Bagan’s league winning squad.
Ashutosh Mehta used to play in the full back position for Mohun Bagan and it’ll be very fair to say that he was able to revive his career while playing under Kibu Vicuna. Kibu Vicuna trusted him a lot during the entire season and Ashutosh made a total of 14 appearances in colours of Mohun Bagan. In those 14 appearances, he managed to add 1 assist to his name while he did make some lethal runs as well.
He has good crossing abilities as well, which give his team an extra edge. He has also done ever so well while defending for his team and made it very difficult for any striker to get past him.
After the conclusion of the season, Ashutosh has surely been a player to look out for beacause of his staggering performances. While, it will be very interesting to see how he competes with his teammates for a place in the playing eleven.
ATK-MB have slowly started to build a strong team for the next season of ISL and considering the current situation, they are probably one of the team to look out for in the next season.
