ATK have created all the buzz this transfer window with the signings of Roy Krishna and David Williams and are also close securing the signing of Dario Vidosic, who is a Australia International. Their latest addition is Anas Edathodika.
The 32 years old center back is currently in Mumbai, attending National Team camp under coach Igor Stimac. After AFC Asian Cup 2019, Anas announced retirement from international football but before Intercontinental Cup, Igor Stimac called him back.
Anas started his professional career at Mumbai FC he played for them in I League 2nd Division and I League. He won I League 2nd division with Mumbai FC. After 4 years with Mumbai FC, Anas then moved to Pune FC. He played more than 100 matches for Pune FC in 4 years. In 2012-13, Anas had a brilliant season with Pune FC and he was awarded with Club’s best player of the year. Anas captained Pune FC in 2013-14 season.

In 2015, Anas signed for Delhi Dynamos where he enjoyed lot of success. He raised people’s eyebrows with some stunning performances. Anas also played for Mohun Bagan in between on loan from Delhi Dynamos.
After successfull stint with Delhi Dynamos, Anas then moved to new ISL franchise Jamshedpur FC via Player Draft. He was Jamshedpur FC’s first player.
In 2018, Kerala Blasters announced the signing of Anas. It was homecoming for Anas. Both Kerala Blasters and Anas didn’t had best of the season last year. Club failed to make any impression last season.
ATK have completed some stunning signings this season. ATK have John Johnson and Carl Mchugh as foreign defenders. It will be interesting how much starts Anas gets at ATK at the age of 32.
