The Nigerian wall of Jamshedpur FC scored his 3rd of the season helping them win against Bengaluru FC tonight. Bengaluru FC sure made T P Rehenesh stay on his toes throughout the game, which forced him to make a total of six saves, five catches and two clearances for his side, earning himself the Hero Of The Match award for tonight.

Bengaluru FC suffered their second loss tonight and here’s what gaffer Carles Cuadrat had to say about it,

“It was very physical, much like the match against ATK Mohun Bagan. We know the league is tough, we know it’s level. So, we accept it. We fought till the very end but they outdid us, so it was impossible.”

Bengaluru FC have seemed to be over-dependant on the youngster Suresh Wangjam on running their team but Carles Cuadrat seemed to disagree with that. He said,

“I don’t agree to it. We have created chances with Sunil Chhetri, with Cleiton Silva, our number nine also created spaces and chances. So, it’s not all about Suresh, we have a full squad who are capable of providing goals for us.

“Ashique Kuruniyan was one of our best players but we understand that he’s in his recovery period. So, I’d like to try more options on the left flank. I gave some minutes to Ajith but it’s a new league and a new competition for him. He needs to learn the new ways of defending. We’ll see.”

Carles Cuadrat signed off by saying that football is an unpredictable game and the players needs to stay motivated throughout.
