This article covers the post-match press conference of both the gaffers and is split into two pages.
An entertaining match came to end by some unusual twist and turns tonight. Chennaiyin FC was successful to share a point with table toppers Mumbai City FC. The final scoreline was 1-1, as Ogbeche scored for the Islanders while Isma scored a penalty for the other side.
Chennaiyin FC gaffer Csaba Laszlo shared his thoughts on match and said,
“I think we had decent defence and holding midfielders. Because some players are out due to injury, we had to rebuild our tactics.”
“We didn’t have a full week to train. Generally, after every two or three days, we have a match. Many teams are fighting for 3rd and the 4th place and we are also into it,” he added.
Speaking upon the strikers performance,
“I can’t speak all the time about them and their confidence. I don’t have a pocket full of confidence and then give that to them. Strikers need to prove themselves more and help the team.”
Laszlo signed off saying that the result of the match was fair and the point earned is very important for keeping team spirit.
