Jamshedpur FC’s head-coach Owen Coyle spoke about the improvement in the team and said,

“I think this was the game against a very good team and what we had to do was win the game, so we did it. I know very well how dangerous side they are. We had chances before we eventually got the goal and I think we deserved the three points.”

Upon asked about the chances to reach the playoffs, Coyle said,

“We have given ourselves a chance. There are three teams ahead of us at this moment, they all have a game in hand. They still have to win that games. What we have to do is keep ourselves in the fight, keep it interesting because it’s not our spot, it’s somebody else’s to give away. We will try our best to keep pushing ourselves as much as possible.”

Jamshedpur FC will face Mumbai City FC and ATK Mohun Bagan in upcoming matches. The head-coach said,

“I think every game in the ISL is an opportunity to win all three points. We have shown our form against ATK Mohun Bagan and Mumbai in the first half of the season and they also know how and what Jamshedpur FC will perform if we’re in good structure. Anybody in this league can win games. We just have to focus on the game, win and then go into the next one, that’s what we should keep doing.”
