Dilliram Sanyasi, the 24 year old talented winger from West Sikkim, is all set to don the colours of red and gold of EAST BENGAL from the upcoming season.
Born to Lt.Man Maya Sanyasi and Purna Bdr Sanyasi, this young lad is one of the youngest footballers from Sikkim to play in the AFC Cup, an year ago.
Dilliram started playing football back when he was 7years old, and since then there has been no looking back. He was first selected in the ‘Search for More Bhaichung’ campaign, in the year 2007 and was trained from 2007-2009 in Sports Hostel, Namchi, Sikkim from where he went on to play the Subroto Cup in New Delhi and was selected for a full scholarship to study and play for the Air Force School, New Delhi.
He played in the Air Force Team from 2009 to 2014 and then moved on to play for Delhi Football Club for the 2014-15 season. He further went on to play for Hindustan FC, in Delhi for the season 2015-16 before finally joining the Minerva Punjab Footall Club in 2016, which now, is known as the Punjab Football Club (Punjab FC). The young talent from Sikkim not only holds the title for the highest goal scorer in the 2016-17 Punjab league, for Minerva Punjab Football Club but has also featured in the AFC Cup last year, for Punjab FC.
Overall seeing his performances and career so far, it can be said that this boy has a bright future and is in the right direction at the moment. Dilliram Sanyasi will hopefully be seen playing wearing the East Bengal jersey in the upcoming season, and will surely be an useful asset for the club, if used properly. We all hope to witness some wonderful performances and lots of glory with is new club, East Bengal FC.
