Edu Garcia in the spotlight for KBFC, JFC and FC Goa.


Talismanic midfielder Edu Garcia who is currently a part of the title winning ATK squad has grabbed some eyeballs around the sub continent. The Spaniard is in terrific form and has been in the Indian circuit since the 2017-18 season.

Edu started his youth career in Real Zaragoza back in 2002 and he played for the same club before flying down to India in the year 2017. He has played for Bengaluru FC beforehand in the 4th season of the Indian Super League where they ended as the Tabletoppers with 13 wins out of 18 games. In that season Edu played 14 matches scoring 2 goals and 5 assists. After playing in China, Edu returned back to the ISL, representing ATK FC for the second half of the 2018-19 season.

Edu Garcia has been brilliant in the ISL season 6 having played 16 matches and with 6 Goals and 3 assists to his name. Even his 48th minute strike helped ATK get a lead in the Finals as they went on to be crowned as the Champions.

Big names like FC Goa, Kerala Blasters FC and Jamshedpur FC are linked with Edu as he proved to be the vital cog in the midfield for ATK FC. With FC Goa, qualifying for the AFC Champions League they might take the extra step to solidify their Midfield. Also the struggling Kerala and Jamshedpur sides will be eager to get him signed owing to his performance.
