What’s the buzz?
The Highlanders have done some exciting signings at the backs this time by bringing back Croatian Mislav Komorski and Kai Heering.
The detailed matter
Kai Heering who played for Eredevisie Side Fortuna Sittard last season have joined Northeast United FC on free transfer this season.
An Ajax Academy player Kai Heering made his professional debut for FC Utrecht in 2011. After spending few impressive seasons with the club he went to FC Cambur in 2016 and played on loan for SKN St.Potten. In the following season he joined Fortuna Sittard where he won the Eerste Divisie and got promoted to play in the top tier of Netherland’s football league. It was his time with Fortuna Sittard that Northeast United FC spotted him and made no mistake in securing the player.
Mislav Komorski was a part of Northeast United’s squad in 2018-19 season but missed the second half of the season due to injuries. The Croatian who represented his nation in U16, U17, U19 and U20 level has extended his contract with the highlanders and have already joined the squad.
What’s next?
The defensive duo of Northeast United looks good on paper but it will be interesting to watch them play football in the upcoming season.
