The transfer window is set to get underway as we approach mid June. Northeast United FC and Jamshedpur FC have started preparing their shortlists for the window and one name that is sought after by both the clubs is “Pritam Singh Ningthaujam“
The 27 year old winger from Manipur has been a hot property owing to his performance in the last season. He was absolutely phenomenal for Neroca FC. Sheer pace, box to box accuracy, crossing and a good vision are the few attributes in which Pritam excels. He managed to make it into the headlines by scoring a beautiful hat trick in the Manipur Derby.
Pritam started his professional career with the Sporting Club de Goa, and has represented Mumbai Tigers, Mohmeddan SC, Gokulam Kerala and Neroca FC since then. He had some great figures in the last season and he started 100% of the games for Neroca. He scored 4 goals and assisted 4 more and proved to be one of the vital cogs of Neroca’s 2019-20 campaign.
One of his notable performances came in the Super Cup. When Neroca locked horns with the Kerala Blasters FC in a do or die match. Things were going out of Neroca’s hand as they conceded 2 goals until Pritam was substituted in. As soon as he hit the pitch, Pritam made his every second count as he assisted one goal to turn the tables for Neroca. As heroic as it sounds the match ended up in NEROCA’s favor with a scoreline of 3-2.
