The East Bengal flametorch shone BRIGHT with Enobakhare rising up to the occasion as his stupendous solo goal left the Goan defense in sixes and sevens. The Red and Golds stood strong albeit being forced down to a 10-man side after captain Danny Fox was given marching orders for his reckless tackle agains Alexander Romario Jesuraj.

Robbie Fowler’s side showed tremendous discipline and composure as they kept the Goan attacks at bay. SC East Bengal got a better rank in the points table with this game as they ascend to the 9th position.

On the other hand FC Goa procured another gem from the Goan hotbed as Devendra Murgaokar announced himself in style when he scored the equalizer in the ending minutes of the game. Constructing their attacks from the back FC Goa seemed to have some missing dots in the final third. They bossed the possession and also got numerous set pieces which were not converted.
