After plenty of action in the last four months, we have come down to the last day where Gaurs will take on the Nizams in the D-Day of the Hero Indian Super League at Fatorda Stadium in the first encounter of the day. Both the teams will give it their all to qualify for the semi-finals. One point will do for the Gaurs where on the other hand Nizams need a win to qualify for the first time in the play-offs.

The three Indian players to watch out for are Akash Mishra, Liston Colaco, Ishan Pandita. Liston Colaco, the utility player for the Nizams this season, he can play in both the flanks and on few occasions he has proved his worth and helped his team to gain points. Ishan Pandita – in his first year in India has proved everyone how effective he could be for any team, got the chance to play only fifty six minutes, but scored four crucial goals for the clubs in the dying minutes of the game, he has proved himself as the super-sub and possesses one of the best goal conversion rate in the league.

Three foreigners to watch out for are

The three foreigners to watch out for are Alberto Noguera, Joao Victor, Igor Angulo. Alberto Noguera proved how essential he is for a team, from making crucial tackles to giving those final passes, he had been the midfield general for his side. He has the highest number of assists in the league and also scored a goal in his very first year in the Indian Super League. Igor Angulo, the second to golden boot race will also be looking to match his tally with Roy Krishna and helped his team to qualify for the play-off stage. Joao Victor has been a consistent performer for his team throughout the league and the Brazilian midfielder never depressed the audience with his overall work rate in the middle of the park. Adding to his defensive skills in front of the four-man defense and also to his goal-scoring ability he had been the trump card for the coach in the early phase of the tournament, where few foreigners were missing out due to injury.


Asish Rai and their highest goal-scorer Aridane Santana will miss out due to injury where as Brandon Fernandes will look to return for the Gaurs.
