Five Chennaiyin FC players who are on the verge of leaving

Chennaiyin FC had a roller coaster of a season finishing as the runners-up of 19-20 ISL. Nobody has given them a chance in the middle of the season as they were placed in the bottom of the league. Arrival of the Coyle in the mid season boosted up the team morale and ended up in the top half of the table and gained a semi final spot. They were too hot to handle in the business end of the season and gained themselves a spot in the Goa for the Finals. Chennaiyin FC who played equally well in the grand finale against ATK but ended up in the losing side. They are looking to set themselves busy in the transfer market as they also have AFC in next season.

So according to the sources, some players are looking to move away from the two-time champions.

Nerijus Valskis

Valskis brought the goalscoring joy to the Marina Arena & CFC,is now a free agent. It was surprising that he has left out by the club without holding the leading goal scorer for the next season. He played a vital role in front of the goal both by scoring goals and providing assist. Valskis is the winner of the Golden Boot this season. Sources suggest that he might be a part of strong attack of KBFC next season. KBFC might be very pleased to have a goalscorer like him in the next season.
