The former Manchester United goalkeeper signed for Kerala Blasters in August 2017 teaming up with his former team-mate Wes Brown and made twelve appearances for the Blasters. He then announced his retirement after playing for Kerala Blasters.
Bojan Djordjic
The Swedish footballer of Serbian origin Bojan Djordjic was among the stars who played for the inaugural edition of the Indian Super League. The former Manchester United’s Jimmy Young player awardee made eleven appearances for Chennaiyin FC and assisted one. He then hung up his boots after playing for Chennaiyin FC.
We will be eager to watch more players from the European giants to come here and play for the Indian clubs, not only in their last time but also in the prime time of their careers.
