I came here at Himachal to meet him for some other reason but after meeting him and hearing about him from others made me his fan . I Never Ever Imagined in life that a Man Who is State Football Secretary takes Practice Sessions 5 am and 5 pm Everyday .
He came to Khad few Year back and now Khad is HUB of Himachal Football . With the support of People of khad and Mr Deepak Himself took football to every home. Today Three Girls from one family was playing together and Girl Mother was in the stand to chear her daughters along with girls grandmother . The Football Culture here in Khad is a Blessing of the Effort of Mr Deepak Sharma .
Today On the occasion of Women’s Day, Himachal Pradesh Football Association celebrated AFC Women’s Football Day at the Football Stadium in Khad. During this time a colorful cultural program was also organized. Himachal Pradesh Football Association General Secretary Deepak Sharma said that as per the instructions of All India Football Federation, the event was organized on Women’s Day at the Football Stadium in Khad, District Una.
In this, the boys of the Government College Khad presented Bhangra and forced the attendees to dance. Sumit and Anshul performed solo dance in the program. A musical chair dance competition was also organized during this period. In which Kalpana was the winner.
Deepak Sharma said that Monica of Innerwheel Club presented wrist watch to both girls teams. On this occasion, a girls’ exhibition football match was played between Girls Youth Football Academy Khad and Dhingra Majra Football Academy Mahilpur (Punjab). The girls of Punjab defeated Himachal girls by 1-0 . The match was conducted by the female referee Miss Joti. The special thing of the program was that the mothers of all the girls who came to play matches in it also specially arrived in the program. They saw There daughters playing football on the sports field. During this, many mothers also appeared emotional. HPFA Treasurer Naresh Rana, Vice President Pankaj Dutta Shammi, Nandita Sharma, Mohit Agrihotri, Shubham Gurung, Jagdish Dutta, Narinder Heer, Kamaljeet were present on the occasion.
