Shibil Muhammed – the Mallapuram born midfielder finds his feet in Vizag as he signs for Sreenidhi FC, IFTWC can confirm.
Shibil Muhammed’s journey so far –
The 23 years old who was promoted to Gokulam Kerala’s senior team from their reserves side in 2019, has been a vital cog for the Malabarians ever since as he was also named as their top Indian goalscorer in the 2019-20 season.
He has even clocked appearances in Durand Cup, IFA Shield as well as Sheikh Kamal International Club Cup hosted by Bangladesh and he’ll carry a baggage of experience for his new side Sreenidhi FC.
After being crowned as a Champion with Gokulam Kerala FC last season, Shibil Muhammad was indeed one of the most sought-after names in the transfer market. The former Mohun Bagan U-18 player has scored around 4 goals in the Gokulam outfit so far.
Sreenidhi FC will be gearing up for their debut I-League season and the addition of Shibil Muhammed might just help them to solidify their ranks. This move will reunite him with his former coach Santiago Varela who will be spearheading the Andhra-based club.
