Hyderabad FC have signed Juanan Gonzalez for a free transfer, IFTWC can confirm. With this addition their defense seems to be well taken care of.
The Transfer window has just started to heat-up and the Telangana based club have been very dominating from Day One. The premise for this move rooted somewhere around a month back, which led Bengaluru FC to mutually part ways with the defender who donned their jersey for over a hundred times.
To be precise, Juanan has clocked 113 appearances for the Blues and also played a meticulous role in their title winning season. The former Real Madrid B player, had arrived at the Indian shores back in 2016, having an experience of playing in numerous countries along the European belt including the likes of Hungary, Germany and Spain.
The 34 year old has now put pen to paper for starting a new chapter in his life, playing for Hyderabad FC. A source close to the development said, “Juanan seems to be perfectly fitting in the club’s plan of action, and it’s a done deal!”
Speaking of the numbers, the Spaniard has made a total of 7 (6+1) goals contribution over the past few seasons. He was rock solid at the back and helped Bengaluru FC to record the most clean-sheets in 2018-19 and 2019-20 seasons.
With Juanan in the fray, the team definitely looks more stronger and it’d be interesting to see how he pairs up with Chinglensana Singh. Hyderabad FC have seemingly big plans for the upcoming season and their moves prove to be a strong testament of the same.
