Talents to watch out in I-League 2nd Division 2019

I league 2nd division has just started. Lots of new clubs, new players and new coaches are set to feature this season. We will see lot of talented players, and so let’s have a look at some of the promising players who will be playing second division I league this season.

1. Leon Augustine (BFC B)
The Bengaluru FC academy graduate, has set his eyes for 1st team opportunities. Leon Augustine was one of the star players in last years Santosh Trophy. Leon is prolific striker. Leon has already scored 1 goal against FC Goa reserves in the 1st match.

2. Calvin Abhishek (ARA FC)
Calvin Abhishek was with Bengaluru FC last season, but he didn’t got much opportunities in ISL. So, he left Bengaluru FC and decided to join new comers ARA FC. He played well in the opening match against Hindustan FC.

3. Syed Shoaib Ahmed (ARA FC)
Shoaib was part of Gokulam Kerala and Pune FC previously. He played few matches in I league as well. The prolific striker is known for his finishing. He already scored a hat-trick which also included a late winner against Hindustan FC in the 1st match.

4. Sumit Rathi (ATK B)
Sumit plays as a wing back. He is known for his pace, agility and crossing. He is really good in defending as well. In the 1st two matches of ATK reserves, he was one of the best player in the match.

5. Aman Chetri (Chennaiyan FC B)
Aman plays as centre forward. Aman had offers from foreign clubs, but he decided to reject those offeres and signed a three year deal with Chennaiyin FC. He will be playing 2nd division I league this time around. It will be interesting to see how many goals he scores.
