I-League 2nd division outfit Ahmedabad Racquet Academy, popularly known as ARA FC have solidified the services of Nepalese young attacker Rajesh Pariyar ahead of the 2020-21 season.
Upcoming agency IBISA (I believe in Sports Always) scouted this talented guy from Nepal and brokered this deal out which might be nice surprise signing by the side from Ahmedabad.
The youngster was a part of the Nepal U-23 national team that came out on top during the 13th South Asian Games 2019 at home. Pariyar played for Brigade Boys Club during the 18th Aaha! Rara Gold Cup. Before that he was also a part of Nepalese top tier club New Road Team.
Born in Chitwan, Nepal–Rajesh has already represented his nation at U-16 as well as U-19 AFC Asian Cup qualifiers and has played 105 minutes during 2 appearances in the later. He had started his professional career with Manang Marshyangdi Club. Pariyar made headlines in January when he scored a brace against Brigade Boys Club during an A Division League game.
Ahead of the commencement of the fresh season, the 20-year-old will be the first addition to Vivek Nagul’s side that will eye towards earning a place in Hero I-League next season. On the other hand, ARA FC, the first professional club from Gujarat to play in I-League 2nd division, are scheduled to play the I-League qualifiers against Mohammedan SC, Bengaluru United, Garhwal FC and Bhawanipore FC in October.
It will be exciting to see how much help do the Alphas gain from the addition of the Nepalese firepower.
