ISL Franchises are not happy with the Revenue -Loss they are getting from ISL matches. Neither they think Federation is doing a good job in extracting Leverage from the matches . So Now Federation , in order to make ISL more and more interesting , wants to finish it within December

As news are coming out, IMG and ISL management wants to curtail the 6-Month League into a 3 Month Competitive Thriller and finish it as fast as it needs. Even TWO Years back, I-League used to start after ISL was finished. It was helpful in one sense that the The ISL players could easily join I League.

Simultaneous Running of 2 League , undoubtedly affected ISL in a negative way as the Conventional Supporters stayed with I League but ISL lost its charm in a big way. Constant Low Crowd Turnout in ISL matches, is matter of worry not only for the franchises but also for the Federation. So AIFF wants ISL to flourish at any cost.

Not only that, The Franchisee owner have altogether made it clear that They cant run after Big Budget Foreign players anymore. So AIFF will reduce the number of Foreign player playing in ISL from the current season. The excuse AIFF has given though is something else, they say they are not ready to compromise on the level of football. One thing is clear, This year there will be no chance of Mohunbagan and East-bengal to play ISL and the Club managements have also indicated they dont want to talk into ISL ways.\

In conclusion, we find there will be no Calling of Bid from the Federation perspective this current season. Next year there will be a possibility if The Legacy clubs approach AIFF from their end
