I League – Mohammedan Sporting complete the signing of Kunzang Bhutia and 3 other domestic players

Mohammedan Sporting have roped in Avinabo Bag, Arashpreet Singh, Kunzang Bhutia and Altamash Sayed, IFTWC can confirm.

Arashpreet Singh is a versatile player. He can play as center back as well as fullback. Arashpreet was part of the I League winning team of Minerva Punjab, who later went on to play in the AFC Cup. After successful stint with the Warriors, Arashpreet signed for the team from the valley, Real Kashmir. He made only few appearances for them and has now signed for the Black Panthers.

Mohammedan Sporting have also roped in Altamash Sayed and Avinabo Bag from Bhawanipore FC. Altamash has previously played for Bengaluru FC reserves and Real Kashmir. He started his career at Lonestar Kashmir.

31 years old Avinabo bag is another experienced fullback. He has played for big clubs like East Bengal, Mohun Bagan and Kerala Blasters. The versatile fullback made 5 appearances in the Hero ISL while donning the Jersey of Kerala Blasters. Avinabo and Altamash were teammates in Bhawanipore FC.

Shot stopper Kunzang Bhutia has also joined the Black Panthers from Bengaluru United. Kunzang started his professional career at Shillong Lajong and was loaned out to ISL clubs like Northeast United and ATK. He had short stints with Tollygunge and Fateh Hyderabad as well. He was playing for Bengaluru United in the recent I League 2nd division qualifiers and managed to impress Mohammedan Sporting management.

Mohammedan Sporting have strengthened their squad with some quality additions. It will he interesting to see how the Black Panthers perform in the upcoming I League season.
