Striker Philip Adjah and the Bangladesh national football team captain Jamal Bhuyan are set to sign for Mohammedan SC, IFTWC can confirm.

After clinching the promotion to I-League after 7 years, Mohammedan Sporting Club has signed some domestic as well as foreign players to strengthen the team for the upcoming season.

The Ghanaian striker Philip Adjah recently played for Bhawanipore FC in I-League Qualification round. In 4 matches he scored 2 goals.

Earlier this year, the 22-year-old scored 9 times in 9 games for NEROCA before the I-League was cancelled due to COVID-19 pandemic. His ability to create chances and quickness on the field to outrun the opponent’s defenders was astonishing. He burst onto limelight in 2018-19 season when he scored 31 goals in 30 matches for Mohammedan SC in all competitions.
