Sreenidhi FC set to sign former TRAU FC full-back Shahabaaz Khan for the upcoming season of I-League.
The 23-year-old left-back has previously played for Real Kashmir FC and Bengaluru FC II. During his last season at TRAU FC, he’s featured in sixteen matches, making a start in fourteen of them. On the whole, he holds 46 games’ experience varying through competitions such as the Durand Cup, I-League, I-League 2nd Division, and I-League 2nd Division Playoffs.
Apart from his natural left-back position, he can also play as a right-back, and he has also featured in the U19 Indian national team’s squad.
The addition of the experienced full-back to Sreenidhi FC’s squad can turn out to be a vital move and will be a significant boost for them in this upcoming season.

On the 20th of April, Sreenidhi announced their new gaffer, the Argentine/Spanish, Fernando Santiago Varela. Following this, the Sreenidhi Football Club brought the experienced goalkeeper Ubaid CK and defensive midfielder Muthu Irulandi Mayakannan into their loop. IFTWC exclusively confirmed the said players being in advanced talks with the club. They also announced the central defender, Dinesh Singh, on the 25th of June.
