Former Gokulam Kerala midfielder Lalromawia has signed for Sreenidhi FC in the upcoming season, IFTWC can exclusively confirm.
The 23-year-old midfielder hailing from Aizawl has previously played for Chanmari West FC and Chhinga Veng FC. Playing for Gokulam Kerala FC last season, he’s featured in 15 games for them and scored twice. Lalromawia was a part of the Chhinga Veng squad that became the runner-ups of I-League 2nd Division and Mizoram Premier League.
Lalromawia has also played in the Santhosh Trophy, plying his trade for the Mizoram football team. He was recognised as one of the best players in the 2017-18 iteration of the tournament, scoring four goals for his outfit.
By and large, he has 37 games to his name on record with 5 goals and 1 assist, which is a good record for any midfielder. His experience varies over competitions such as Santhosh Trophy, I-League, I-League 2nd Division, I-League 2nd Division Playoffs and Durand Cup.

Sreenidhi named their new gaffer, Argentine/Spanish Fernando Santiago Varela, on April 20th. Sreenidhi Football Club then enlisted the help of veteran goalkeeper Ubaid CK and defensive midfielder Muthu Irulandi Mayakannan. The said players were in advanced talks with the club, according to IFTWC. On the 25th of June, they also announced the signing of Dinesh Singh, a central defender. Shahabaaz Khan is also expected to join Sreenidhi FC.
