Ovays Azizi (GK) – 6.0

The Afghan custodian was able to stop the direct hits taken by Sunil Chhetri and Manvir. He was also at the point throughout the game except for the 85th minute. His mishandling led to a goal that decided his team’s final position on the table.

Masih Saighani – 7.5

The former Chennaiyin FC defender was able to humble the Indian attack multiple times. His passing was to the point and precise.

David Ahmed Najem 6.5

A little more defensive awareness from Najem would not have led Azizi to commit that own goal. Rest, he had a good presence.

Haroon Amiri – 8.0

The match clearly saw Amiri bossing the defence and midfield, and he was a tough man throughout the game. The Real Kashmir defender was a wall last night.

Noor Husin – 7.0

The Crystal Palace prospect had some vital crosses and was also seen making some clearances.

Farshad Noor (C) 6.0

Captain Noor didn’t have a huge impact over the game as he had to leave the field just past the half an hour mark.

Faysal Shayesteh – 7.0

The 30-year-old attacking midfielder was not seen in a complete focus but he somehow got the job done. However, more was expected from the veteran by the fans.

Milad Intezar – 6.5

Milad Intezar was not upto the mark except for a couple of good through balls to the final third. The 28-year-old definitely needs some improvement.

Amir Sharifi – 7.5

Amir Sharifi at the position of a center forward, although didn’t have a say, was a real headache for Sandesh Jhingan and Sana Singh until the full time whistle was blown.

Omid Popalzay – 8.0

He is just 25, has the pace and agility. Last night he has shown what kind of potential he holds. His brilliant display only fell short of a goal because of a brilliant save from the numero uno of India.

Mohammad M. Sharif – 7.0

Sharif was seen a bit fatigued towards the second half. Still, he was giving his best throughout and was able to produce some great plays.

Adam Ahmad Nazem – 7.5

Nazem was definitely not the one who readily admits defeat. He was sticking with Indian attackers and midfielders.

Hossein Zamani – 8.5

The super-sub of Afghanistan who effected a spectacular curler past Gurpreet Singh Sandhu to seal at least a point for his team. Had he been subbed on earlier, the score-line could have been different.

Noraollah Amiri – N/A

Zubayr Amiri – N/A
