Gurpreet didn’t have much to do in this game as Bangladesh had only four shots in which only two were on target. Due to which he managed to get a clean sheet in this match.

Chinglensana Singh – 8

Sana Singh was undoubtedly one of the best players on the pitch today alongside Chhetri and Brandon. He was rock-solid in the three-men defence alongside Sandesh and Bose. He was passing the ball upfront beautifully and almost scored a header from a corner.

Sandesh Jhingan – 7.5

Jhingan defended well alongside Sana Singh not allowing the Bangladeshis to get through the three-men defence of India. He played a crucial role in getting the clean sheet.

Subhasish Bose – 6.5

Bose was a bit shaky in the three-men defence alongside Sana and Jhingan. He was really sloppy and wasn’t playing as freely as the other two centre-backs.

Udanta Singh – 6

Udanta had an average game in the first half and just wasn’t contributing enough. So he was taken off and was replaced by Yasir.

Suresh Singh Wangjam – 7

Bipin looked very poor today, his touches were very poor, his passes were very poor and his overall performance wasn’t up to the mark today. Although he is a lethal crosser, there was nothing much he could do today. He was later subbed for Ashique.

Sunil Chhetri – 8.5

Although Chhetri had a poor first half and the start of the second half where he missed few chances, he rose to the occasion at the right time scoring two goals to give India the win.

It was a night to forget for Manvir. He had a below-average game where he looked completely out of focus and sloppy, he couldn’t connect well with Sunil Chhetri and was later subbed off for Liston.
