Indian Super League is to be Crowned as top league by AIFF ?

This Question is Hot in Indian Football Community that will AIFF Declare ISL as top league of the Nation , finally we just have to wait for Next Month and we will find out the Roadmap of Indian football . ALL INDIA FOOTBALL FEDERATION ( AIFF) will do an Executive Committee Meeting Next Month to Officially Declare ISL as the top league .

Since 2014 when ISL was started we have seen growth in Indian Football in Terms of Viewership and Fans Engagement , we saw many world class players like Diego Forlan , Roberto Carlos , Marco Materazzi and many more playing in our Indian Soil , For the First Three Years everyone was Praising this New League but since last two years there was ups and down for Newly Formed League ( ISL ) , FIFA and AFC both warned that there can be only one Top Division League otherwise India will face ban .

With this everyone was concern about the future Road map of Indian Football , and after this news a new rivalry started that ISL will be the top League or I-League will be the top league . From last 2 years I have done more than 100 Livestreams and there was one question always in the Comment Section whom you support “Isl or i- league” And I always replied same – Indian Football

Like our coach said ISL is more competitive but I-league is grooming young players so both are important for the growth of Indian Football
So in my opinion also both should not be seen as rivals
But now we have to make a Roadmap to give Indian football stability And Mr Kushal Das ( AIFF GENERAL SECRETARY ) mentioned that Masters Rights Agreement (MRA) signed originally between AIFF and IMG-Reliance and now between AIFF and Football Sports Development Limited (FSDL), a subsidiary of IMG-Reliance where Star is also a partner.

“It’s in the contract (that ISL will be the top league). Initially, we felt that let the tournament happen and then we will see. After five years, we have to honour the contract. Let the executive committee decide,” said AIFF general secretary Kushal Das told the newspaper.

AIFF is set to “honour” the contract with IMG-Reliance which has a clause to make ISL the “most senior and prestigious football league in India”.

In that contract it was mentioned that FSDL can decide upon the format , rules , Structure of the league and the teams and players who will play in it and they payed RS 700 crore for this agreement .

In 2016 it was proposed that I-League would be discontinued and another competition named League One with no promotion and no AFC Cup or AFC Champions league slots .

If ISL will be introduced as top league of India by AIFF than ISL winners will get a AFC championship league qualification slot and super Cup winners will get a AFC Cup spot but India still have AFC Cup qualification slot and it’s not clear that whome it will be given to ,

Author take – If ISL Winner will able to qualify for AFC championship league than ISL runner up will get AFC Cup qualification slot . With this the future of ileague club is in danger I hope AIFF have made a roadmap who will take everyone together because its not about isl or I-League it’s about future of indian football I hope AIFF have also made plans for I league clubs
