ISL 2020-21 | Top 5 Emerging Players liston

Liston Colaco has had a redefining season for the impressive Hyderabad FC side this season. Having played 19 of the 20 games for HFC this season, Liston has contributed with 2 goals and 3 assists. As a natural winger, he also has put 24 crosses into the box and has fired 35 shots. More than his goal contribution, it’s his pace and trickery that has caused problems for the opposition. Able on both sides of the pitch, Liston has made HFC a potent counter attacking team. His playing style has also led to the emergence of full backs Akash Mishra and Asish Rai with their attacking prowess.

The 22-year old, former Salgaocar FC player has finally stepped up and shown what he can offer. He has showed glimpses of deft touches and skills to beat defenders, that is normally associated with a winger. Liston, however, has a long way to go. He has sometimes been inconsistent with his passing and lacks the final ball. Having said that, Liston is still very young and is one of the players to watch out for in the future. Indian football fans would be hoping that Liston can fulfill his potential and contribute to the Indian national side with goals and assists for years to come.
