In the season of 2017-18, playing 13 matches for Indian Arrows, he scored two times. In 2018, he was signed by Jamshedpur FC on three-year contract. He was sent back on loan to Indian Arrows for the 2018-19 season. He also spent three months training at English club Blackburn Rovers in 2019.

Last season, he scored once for the Men of Steel. Aniket can play on both wings and as a striker too. In the ongoing ISL season, Aniket has scored one goal and has been very dominant on the field creating chances. He is adept at exploiting the defensive frailties of opponents and make pacy runs to put crosses across the wings.

The clubs have enquired about his transfer fees and are eager to pull him into their team in this transfer window itself. Additionally, the clubs have kept the option of signing him at the end of the season as a free agent. On the other hand, Jamshedpur FC are yet to make a decision regarding him, as they are also keen to keep him at the club by offering him a contract extension.
