With the Indian Super League (ISL) Season 8 set to kick off on November 19, 2021, every Indian football fan is eagerly waiting for the grand inaugural ceremony. Overcoming the difficulties caused by the pandemic all teams have cautiously started preparing for the league matches.

Goa will once again be the host of the ISL and the venues will be the same as that of the previous season. Like last season, the organisers have decided to conduct this season in closed doors following strict covid protocols and all 11 teams are mandatorily instructed to maintain a bio bubble for their players and staff.

The highlight of this season is the dramatic re-entry of SC East Bengal. There were uncertainties of the club’s participation as they had some issues piled up with their main investor Shree Cement. But the legacy club managed to complete all the procedures hours before the deadline of the transfer window thereby announcing their participation.

As usual, the inaugural match will be played between Kerala Blasters FC and ATK Mohun Bagan FC in a closed-door environment strictly prohibiting the entry of the fans in the stadium. The match will be telecasted LIVE and the fans can enjoy the match from the comfort of their homes.

The following three stadiums will be the venues for the upcoming season and will be followed by the fixtures of the league.

1) PJN Stadium, Fatorda
2) Athletic Stadium, Bambolim
3) Tilak Maidan Stadium
