Hyderabad FC is looking to strengthen their attack by signing Aaren D’Silva from FC Goa Dev Team, one of the best strikers in the recently concluded Goa Professional League, IFTWC can confirm.
The Goa born forward started his football career in Jawahar Club Ponda, followed by a 4-year stint in Sesa Football Academy before joining the FC Goa developmental team. He made three appearances for the club in the second division I-League. Aaren played an instrumental role in Goa professional League for the Gaurs and scored ten goals in seventeen appearances. He was registered in the Indian Super League squad, but the 23-year old striker failed to get any chance.
We’ve seen in the recent past that FC Goa has given chances to many youth players like Saviour Gama, Princeton Rebello, Nestor Dias, Sarineo Fernandes, Leander D’Cunha. All of them came from the developmental team and impressed with their style of play and slowly went on to become the team’s valuable assets.
Hyderabad FC is looking to reshape their attacking line-up after parting ways with Liston Colaco, Aridane Santana. They have already signed Aniket Jadhav from Jamshedpur FC, and now Aaren D’Silva expected to join them.
