Sliskovic is a former Croatia U-21 team striker, can be described as a tall and physical number 9 who is very lethal in the air primarily for his mastery in heading the balls in the back of the net. Standing at a massive 1.94 meters, Petar is also a good finisher and quick if we talk about his acceleration and off-the-ball work rate. In the league, Petar had 0.47 goals/game, along with a goal conversion rate of 16%. He also had a pass accuracy rate of 62.18% while frequently providing through balls, crosses, and creating chances for all his teammates.

Jamshedpur FC meanwhile are set to part way with their English coach Aidy Boothroyd. His replacement another Englishman has reportedly signed the paperwork for operating on the head coach position from next season onwards. It is expected that quite a few changes will be made at the Furnace to bring the replacement of outgoing players such as Ishan Pandita, Boris Singh, and Laldinliana Renthlei. Along with that a lot of modifications are expected at the foreign department as it’s unlikely the club will be continuing with the current set of players.

Having Petar Sliskovic in the Jamshedpur FC setup will be good recruitment as the Croat can be a good partner up front for the Nigerian striker Daniel Chima Chukwu. The last time a Chennaiyin FC striker signed for Jamshedpur FC was Lithuanian Nerijus Valskis, and we will have to admit that he had a good record at the furnace with netting quite a few goals. Now it remains for us to see if Petar can do the same.
