Jamshedpur FC, the reigning ISL League Shield Winners have completed the signing of Chennaiyin FC’s Brazilian Attacking midfielder Rafael Crivellaro, IFTWC can confirm.
“Chennaiyin FC and midfielder Rafael Crivellaro have parted ways. Rafa has decided to join Jamshedpur FC till the end of the season,” a source close to the development informed IFTWC.
The 33-year-old has a wealth of experience under his belt and his inclusion will significantly boost Jamshedpur FC’s midfield, which has looked weak since Wellington Priori suffered a long-term injury. Although there were fitness issues for Crivellaro at the start of the season, he has been recovering and resumed training with Chennaiyin FC long back.
The Brazilian has previously played in the top divisions of Portugal, Poland, UAE, and Iran. He also plied his trade in clubs in Brazil and Italy. The veteran midfielder still has plenty to offer in the Hero ISL. In terms of statistics during his entire stay in India with Chennaiyin FC, Criverllaro has scored a total of 8 goals and also assisted 9 times in the 27 matches he took part in.
