Noufal P N, the 23-year-old winger of Gokulam Kerala, has decided to sign for Indian Super League champions, Mumbai City FC, as exclusively confirmed by IFTWC.
Noufal stands out as a dominant left winger, distinguished by his adeptness in delivering balls into the box and his skillful ability to cut inside, a trait often lacking in most Indian wingers. His proficiency in both finishing and creating opportunities, coupled with his trickery on the ball, sets him apart. His consistent performances over the past few seasons have propelled him to the forefront of Indian football.

Having honed his skills in the youth systems of Calicut United Football Club, Basco Othukungal, and Prodigy Sportz, Noufal attracted the attention of scouts from the I-League side Gokulam Kerala FC. In 2022, he was signed to a two-year contract by the former champions. Over the past two seasons, he has been a key player for the Malabarians, consistently delivering standout performances that have earned him a spot in the Indian Super League roster.
He debuted for Gokulam in 2023 against Mohammedan SC, then played his second match versus Aizawl FC, where he earned the “Man of the Match” title with two assists. Since then, he’s had a string of opportunities, making a total of 53 appearances for Gokulam, contributing 5 goals and 14 assists.
Now, Noufal faces the chance to stand out among Mumbai City FC’s array of wingers, including established players like Lallianzuala Chhangte, Vikram Pratap Singh, and Bipin Singh. With coach Peter Kratky guiding him, Noufal has a promising platform to advance his career. Before the summer transfer window has even begun, Mumbai City has been notably active. They’ve secured the departures of some foreign players and made significant signings, including Indian players like Brandon from Goa and now Noufal.
