The 25-year old Northeast United FC defender Nim Dorgee Tamang aims to move to Hyderabad FC and the talks are in an advanced stage, IFTWC can confirm.
The Sikkim born full back started his playing career by joining Air Force Academy in 2009. Later making the move to Shillong Lajong’s youth team. Due to his impressive performances in Shillong Premier League, he was promoted to the senior team in 2014. Throughout three seasons, Tamang became a prominent and very known face who made 45 appearances in the I-League till 2017.
Earlier in the 2015, he was selected for the ISL player draft but nobody picked him and Tamang continued playing in the I-League. After leaving Shillong Lajong in 2017, ISL club Pune City FC signed him on a three-year deal.

Tamang had a rough start to his ISL career. He had to strive hard for minutes and also had to go through a serious injury which unfortunately made him miss the entire 2017-18 ISL season. The very next season Tamang played six matches for Pune City FC.
Before the start of the ISL season 2019-20, Northeast United secured his signature. Mainly being deployed as a centre-back and also as a right-back, he made 12 appearances in two season.
On the other hand, As Liston Colaco went out to ATK Mohun Bagan for a whopping transfer fee, Hyderabad FC are all set to sign winger Aniket Jadhav from Jamshedpur FC. Hyderabad are very keen to bring in Nim Dorjee Tamang who will be a great addition to their defence alongside Chinglensana Singh, Akash Mishra, Ashish Rai and others.
