Jamshedpur FC have been slightly missing out on luck whereas Hyderabad FC are probably in their best shape and form so far.

The Super Sunday’s first encounter, the Men of Steel taking on the formidable Hyderabadis at Tilak Maidan seems to be a mouthwatering clash. There will be a lot of noting points ahead of this game, will Chhangte find his form back?, will Hali upset the opponents yet again? or will the Full Back twins Akash and Ashish dominate the game?

If we take a look at the points table there’s a lot more at stake. Hyderabad FC stands tall at the 4th position and Jamshedpur FC are currently at a low lying 9th spot. The league has got so competitive that there’s just a 4 point difference between these two teams placed 5 positions apart. A win tonight will solidify HFC’s stance in the top 4 but if the result goes the other way around, Jamshedpur FC can still keep their playoff hopes alive.

News from the Dugout –

Farukh Chaudhary has returned to Jamshedpur FC on a long term deal and Jackichand Singh has joined the services of Mumbai City FC. Hyderabad FC custodian Adil Khan has moved to FC Goa on a loan until the season ends.

Nikhil Poojary and Joao Victor might miss out because of their injuries and Souvik Chakrabarti has returned citing some personal reasons.

Indian Players to watch out for:

The Indian youngsters at Hyderabad FC have been in a phenomenal form. Ashish Rai, Akash Mishra have garnered heaps of praises as they outplayed most of their opponents. The wingback duo has been contributing ferociously be it defending or be it constructing the attacks.

India has also found a goal poacher in the form of Halicharan Narzary. Finding empty pockets and getting into the right spaces clearly defines Hali’s new version. He is already topping the Indian goalscorer chart for the season and he’d definitely look forward to better that feat.

Key Foreign Players :

Valskis Jamshedpur FC

Nerijus Valskis, the golden boot winner of last season has hit a rough patch. His prowess and goal scoring instinct makes him one of the finest strikers in the league. Aitor Monroy has been putting up some good performance off late. Owen Coyle’s JFC would be keen to get the best out of these two.

On the other hand, the man who has kept HFC’s back 4 quite rock solid, is none other than Odei Onaindia. The 31 year old Spaniard is probably the unsung hero in that Hyderabadi contingent.

Probable Playing XI :

Jamshedpur FC – TP Rehenesh, Narendar Gahlot, Peter Hartley, Stephen Eze, Ricky Lallawmawma, Aitor Monroy, Amarjit Singh, Aniket Jadhav, Isaac Vanmalsawma, David Grande, Nerijus Valskis

Hyderabad FC – Kattimani, Ashish Rai, Odei Onaindia, Chinglensana Singh, Akash Mishra, Luis Sastre, Hitesh Sharma, M Yasir, Liston Colaco, Halicharan Narzary, Aridane Santana
