Juan Ferrando – The players have shown their fighting spirit

In post match press conference head-coach Juan Ferrando shared his thoughts about the match and said,

“It was important to be calm every moment on the field. The players showed their spirit. I think we need to be more organized from next matches and players should show their character more.”

Coming in as a substitute, Ishan Pandita scored a goal in a minute itself and changed the momentum of the match. Quoting on Ishan, Ferrando said,

“We can talk a lot about Ishan. He is a young player but yet need to improve a lot. It was a good decision to place him on field.”

Upon asked about the quality of Indian young players, coach said,

“I am so happy about their performance. They need to work more because some details needs to be improved, as the intensity of game was fast they were some mistakes. The only thing we can do is improve day-by-day and perform more better in next games.”

After being asked about the team talk happened before the match, Ferrando said,

“I explained and talked to everyone about the game and how difficult Hyderabad FC has been. They are very good in transitions as well as positional attacks.”
