-

Odisha FC have officially announced the signing of Kamaljit Singh.

Kamaljit Singh has officialy signed for Odisha FC ahead of next season and he’ll be serving him for a couple of years now. Kamaljit played a total of 12 matches last season for Hyderabad FC, conceding 26 goals. Although Hyderabad didn’t really do well in the recent season, but Kamaljit undoubtedly contributed a lot to the Deccan Legions. Kamaljit began his career with the AIFF Academy and made his debut for them October 29, 2014 against United SC in the Durand Cup. Kamaljit made his senior debut for Sporting Goa in 2014 only where they won the match 3-2.

Kamaljit Singh has also represented India in many age groups and is considered to be one of the best goalkeepers in the country right now.

Odisha FC finished 6th last season and missed out on a playoffs spot. Odisha FC already has some good Indian goalkeepers in their roster such as Arshdeep Singh, Ankit Bhuyan, which means the new coach will now also have a very experienced goalkeeper now.

Odisha FC have been pretty much very busy in signing young Indian players and undoubtedly they are aiming to win the silverware next season. The Kalinga Brigade can hope a lot more from the team next season and also everyone can expect a different team altogether fighting for the silverware.
