Kamalpreet Singh Signs for Odisha FC – Official

Odisha FC has officially announced the signing of Kamalpreet Singh.

Odisha FC seem pretty busy in signing quality young Indian player these days, and yet again they have signed another talented right-back who played for East Bengal in the recent season of I-league.

Kamalpreet was exposed to football at a very young age and he started off with his football career at one of the best Indian academies, AIFF Elite Academy. After years of hardwork and determination, Kamalpreet was given a contract by Minerva Punjab and played in the I-League second division back then. He made his professional debut in the I-League in 2017 against Chennai City FC where he managed to impress a lot of Indian football fans. He later signed for East Bengal ahead of the 2018-19 I-league season and almost played all the games for the Red and Golds. He was a part of East Bengal in the recent season as well.

Kamalpreet has also represented India under-16 and under-19 side but he’s yet to make his debut for the senior national team.

Kamalpreet’s move to Odisha can be a game changer as Kamalpreet is still very fit and can help them to clinch the next ISL title, if he gets proper playing time. Kamalpreet is known for his speed and defending skills and can be a very good option in the coming season for Odisha FC.
