After Bilal Khan, Vishal Kaith, Lovepreet Singh, Mario Arques and Sergio Cidoncha, Kerala Blasters have now turned to 24 years old defender Samad Ali Mallick.
After having such a disappointing season, It was expected that Kerala Blasters would be very busy in the transfer market. Lot of players have been linked with Kerala Blasters. Samad Ali Mallick is the latest one.
Mallick started his career with Calcutta football league side, Rainbow FC, before signing for Quess East Bengal FC. He played for East Bengal in Calcutta Football League. He made his professional debut for the club on 10 January 2016 in the I League against Sporting Goa. He started the match and played the full match as Quess East Bengal won 3–1.
Mallick still plies his trade for the red and gold army in the Hero I League. Samad plays as right back. He is known for his crosses. Samad didn’t got many chances in the Hero I League this season as LalramChullova was doing very well.
It is said that Kerala Blasters have offered him a very lucrative deal which will see Samad earning nearly 1 crore per year if he accepts the offer. Kerala Blasters tried Sandesh Jhingan, Rakip And Cyril Kali at right back position, but it didn’t work out for them. Will we see Samad playing for Kerala Blasters??
