Kerala Blasters FC vs FC Goa – Preview, Team News, Lineup and more


Kerala Blasters FC is set to clash against FC Goa tonight at GMC Stadium in Bambolin, Goa.

Both the sides will try to keep the streak of winning going as players will be hungry to bag crucial points. Kerala Blasters FC won the last match against Bengaluru FC while FC Goa was successful to share a point with mighty ATK Mohun Bagan.

The result of the match will be very interesting, as this win for FC Goa will reduce the gap between second-placed ATK Mohun Bagan. While, if this win spills in the favour of Kerala Blasters FC they will leap to 5th position on the table from the 9th.

Sahal Abdul Samad, Brandon Fernandes and Ishan Pandita will be the three Indian players to watch out for in this match.

Sahal is performing very well in the midfield causing problems for the opponents. While Brandon being key midfielder for the Gaurs, has been very quick in delivering the ball into the box and creating chances. All eyes will be on Ishan Pandita this time too as he has scored two times coming in as a substitute.

Jorge Ortiz, Juande and Gary Hooper will be the three foreign players to watch-out today.

Ortiz has been performing very extraordinarily making pacy runs on the wings and cutting more into the box. The Spaniard will be menace for the Kerala Blasters defence for sure. On the other hand, the newest singing Juande made 9 tackles and also had the passing accuracy of 85% in the last match against Bengaluru FC. In the absence of Murray, Hooper will have the responsibility to partner with Rahul KP in the forward line making sure he gives his best to grab another win for Kerala Blasters.


Facundo Pereyra, Jessel Carneiro and Jordan Murray were sustaining injuries and availability of Jessel and Murray are unsure. Facundo Pereyra is said to be alright and can play some minutes of the match coming in as a substitute.
