Kenstar was on loan at Kerala Blasters last season and the move has been made permanent by the ISL club.
Kenstar plays as a centre back and has experience of playing in the I League with Shillong Lajong. Kenstar captained Shillong Lajong in the Shillong League as well as Meghalaya League and helped them to clinch the title. Kenstar posses aerial threat on both sides of the pitch as he netted 7 goals in 2019 for Shillong Lajong. He made his I League debut in 2018 against Chennai City FC.

Last season, Kerala Blasters announced the signing Kenstar, Mahesh Naorem and Samuel Kynshi on loan from Shillong Lajong. All of them played for the reserve side of Kerala Blasters and appeared for them in the I League second division.
After club icon Sandesh Jhingan left the club, Kerala Blasters have been struggling to replace him with a Indian defender. They have extended the contract of Abdul Hakku. Kenstar is a young player with lot of talent. It remains to be seen whether he get proper playing time to prove his talent in the Indian Super League.
