Bengaluru FC has officially roped in the Mizoram’s talented goalkeeper Lalthuammawia Ralte. Ralte is a 27-year-old goalkeeper who has played for some of the biggest clubs in Indian. Ralte also served Bengaluru FC for 4 long years and he did entice a lot of fans because of fearless goalkeeping skills.
Ralte started his career with Shillong Lajong where he made 40 appearances and was also regarded as the best young goalkeeper at that time. In 2014 Ralte signed for the defending I-League champions, Bengaluru FC. Ralte made his debut for Bengaluru FC against Dempo at Bangalore Football Stadium in which he was able to keep his first clean sheet. In his debut season with Bengaluru, he has made 20 appearances and has helped them to win the I-League.
Ralte was then loaned to NorthEast United, but he never really got any playing time there and that’s when he again came to Bangalore to play in front of the West Block Blues. Ralte played in the I-league for the Kolkata giants in the recent season, East Bengal. He made a total of 9 appearances for them and was always a very robust played between the bars.
Ralte move to Bengaluru can be a game-changer where Ralte is still very fit and can help them to clinch the next ISL title if he gets proper playing time. Ralte is known for his height and fearless goalkeeping skills and can be a very good option in the coming season for Bengaluru FC.
